World Book Day 2025

World Book Day at Wanborough Primary School was a fantastic celebration of creativity and a love of reading! Pupils and staff went all out with their incredible costumes, bringing their favourite book characters to life. From classic fairy tales to modern favourites, the effort and imagination on display were truly impressive!

It was almost impossible to choose, but a huge congratulations to our costume winners—your outfits were outstanding! 🎉👏 A big thank you to all families for your support in making this such a special day.

This year, our staff joined in the fun by dressing up as characters from Julia Donaldson’s much-loved books. 

Pupils had great fun guessing who was who and taking part in exciting book-themed activities throughout the day. A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and made the day so special.
