Oak Class - Term 2

During the first week of Term 2, Oak Class started to revisit their knowledge of their new text type - Newspaper Reports. The children began by recapping the 5Ws used throughout newspaper reports, with a particular focus on the orientation paragraph. To consolidate this, they picked out the 5Ws from a range of orientations. In the next session, the children revised the structural and linguistic features of a newspaper report before exploring newspaper articles within the First News newspaper for children.
